Job Opportunities

The ability to provide excellent customer service to our slipholders and other patrons, work hard, and have fun while you are doing it is a requirement for every position! Specific duties and responsibilities are listed below each position below.

1. Seasonal Dockhands

  • Customer service
  • Performing routine facility maintenance
  • Inspecting dock lines and utility connections on a daily basis
  • Assisting boaters with docking procedures
  • Assistance as required in general Marina cleaning, maintenance and repairs
  • Respond to boaters hailing the marina on the radio
  • Directing those to appropriate locations (e.g., slip assignment, lift well, etc.)
  • Answering Phones in a professional and energetic manner
  • Maintain professional attitude, dress, and appearance at all times
  • The ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

 

2. Dockmaster

  • Strong Guest relations with high level of diplomacy.
  • Possess strong skills in employee supervision/motivation
  • Drive the sales and leasing efforts
  • Enforce day to day marina operations
  • Daily dock inspections
  • Assist with check-in procedures of boats at marina
  • Set Appointments for boat storage, repair, launching 
  • Contract Renewal and Contract Management 
  • Perform, schedule and oversee maintenance work done throughout the facilities to ensure safe and acceptable property and equipment, as well as esthetics appearance.
  • Safe operation of company vehicles, forklifts and equipment, including trailer handling where applicable
  • Coordinate and oversee safe and efficient docking/undocking of vessels.
  • Effectively manage sales, facilities, and guest relations to sustain and optimize profitability, performance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Possess strong organizational, record keeping, and time management skills.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Maintain professional attitude, dress, and appearance at all times

 

3. Assistant Maritime Service Technician

  • Strong Guest relations with high level of diplomacy
  • Assists Service Tech as needed with projects
  • Perform general maintenance at facility, including small repairs, yard maintenance and dock maintenance
  • Safe operation of company vehicles and equipment
  • Good mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and upkeep
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Assisting boaters with docking procedures
  • Maintain professional attitude, dress, and appearance at all times
